Welcome to the Unit
This is part of a series of learning units developed by Daniel O'Keefe. Each unit has a similar framework. The framework is simple, and is research-based. However, I don't claim that the framework is perfect, nor does it follow to the tee the research. It is an amalgam of what I have experienced and studied as both a teacher and as a grad student in instructional technology at Teachers College, Columbia.
It makes the most sense to explore the framework first, in order to get a sense of how the unit maps out, and how it aims to achieve it's learning goals. I hope that it helps somebody teach better at some point. If you have any comments or (polite) criticism, I would appreciate hearing about it. Please do leave a comment.
